About Me

Since my early teenage years I have always been interested in creating music and my very first electronic keyboard was a Magnus Chord Organ, very basic by todays standards, but it fired my interest in creating music.

This very basic ‘Chord Organ’ stayed with me into my very early life which eventually evolved into purchasing a preloved Yamaha organ further followed by a Technics electronic organ which I owned until i eventually took the leap to start studying for my degree in music in 2001.

Back in 1993, whilst studying for my HNC and subsequently my music degree in 1998, I made the decision to study for my teaching diploma and once qualified began teaching for a local music school, eventually transferring my skills and experience gained to teach privately.

Whilst pupils are free to discuss with me particular types of music they wish to learn to play, I frequently follow the structure of The Complete Keyboard Player series of music books suplementing these with additional pieces of music where required
